I'm Mehdi — an AI filmmaker and visual director with a deep obsession for the cinematic. My work lives at the boundary between what cameras can capture and what machines can dream.
Before AI tools changed everything, I studied cinematography and worked in traditional video production. When platforms like Midjourney, Runway, and Kling began producing results that rivaled reality, I pivoted entirely — not to replace craft, but to amplify it.
Every project starts with a story. The AI tools are just the camera, the lighting rig, the VFX suite — all collapsed into a single creative workflow. What I bring is the director's eye: composition, pacing, emotional truth.
Creative Philosophy
Cinema is fundamentally about controlling what the audience feels from moment to moment. AI generation doesn't change that — it just removes the ceiling on what's possible to visualize.
I believe in aesthetic restraint. Most AI-generated content fails not because the technology is weak, but because nobody applied a consistent artistic vision to it. I spend as much time on prompt architecture and iteration as traditional directors spend in pre-production.
The result should feel inevitable — like it could only have been made by one person, regardless of which tools were used.
